Job Summary
The Garment Production Manager runs the clothing factory floor. They make sure clothes are made correctly, on time, and within budget, from the moment fabric is cut until the clothes are packed into boxes.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan the work: Create daily schedules and assign tasks to sewing lines to meet delivery deadlines.
- Check the quality: Fix any stitching or fabric problems so every garment looks perfect.
- Manage the team: Lead and motivate supervisors, tailors, and cutters to meet daily targets.
- Stop wastage: Save money by reducing fabric waste and avoiding mistakes.
- Track materials: Work with suppliers to ensure threads, buttons, and zippers arrive on time.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years working inside a clothing factory.
- Skills: Deep knowledge of sewing machines, fabrics, and production layouts.
